From Bravestar:
THE SLIM TAPER 2.0 15OZ CONE MILLS SELVAGE
BSJ104
$ 89.00
SLIM TAPER 2.0 (COMPARABLE FIT TO LEVI’S® 522™ OR NUDIE® JEANS LEAN DEAN)
The inspiration for this 2.0 fit was to merge our Slim Straight top block (except with a longer front rise) with the bottom half (knee down) of the Skeleton.
The new top block has been opened up in the waistband & low hip/seat which means they sit more naturally on the hips vs. the Slim Taper 1.0 The longer rise gives the silhouette a natural ‘slouched’ look without having to sag. The narrow bottom opening will create an impressive stacking effect around the ankles that will have sneaker heads rejoicing. This is a style that will give you points for being relevant while still being able to act your age which surprisingly are not mutually exclusive concepts.
Sewn & chain stitched in all the right places on vintage Union Special, Reece & Singer machines.
A & E core spun poly thread for maximum strength & durability.
Embroidered star insignia on the right back pocket represents ‘Made in America’ status.
Button fly with double prong, donut style buttons. Old style pocket rivet burrs.
All hardware is made in Kentucky.
Leather back patches are cut & stamped in Los Angeles & waistband label is woven locally in Los Angeles.
Every aspect of the production is US made in Downtown Los Angeles.

Nice Shirt! Where did you get it from?
Hey, thanks for the review; I have been eyeing this co. for some time but have yet to pull the trigger. Have your pair stretched at all? Do they shrink when you wash em? Have you washed them and if so how long did you go without washing them and do they have nice fading tendencies? Thanks for your time…a denim head
Have you worn bonobos jetsetter dress shirt? I am skeptical of the cotton/nylon/spandex blend and want to know how much it will wrinkle and whether or not I’m better off sticking with their daily grind…thanks
I really like the shirt you are wearing in this video.
Size 31. Bragger
Did the dye rub off on these?
thank you
I got my 21 oz unbranded tapered earlier today… first i couldn’t button at all but it ended alright after trying for a while i got the the last one, but i still can’t get the last one after like 4 hours… is this normal for sanforized raw denim? I’ve read that it’s normal, but is it in your experience?
Those jeans look awesome! Damn good price too
Question someone who has never own a pair of raw Salvage denim before would 15oz feel heavy for the first few hours/wear. are all the denim 34 inseam?
My 21 oz get delivered today im super excited to beat these into the ground lol
Can you do an update on these jeans? Interested to see how comfortable they are now and how they’ve held up. Also, do you have any experience with Unbranded? They both seem to be around the same price point
Hey! Greetings from Russia! I like Brave Star! http://oldschooljeans.ru/
Hey man, could you do a review on the Brooklyn Boot Company? American made, no middle man, online only shop.
Could you mention how much your jeans weight total? I bought 18.5oz 34″ waist and 34″ seam recently and it weights only 30.9oz. Where as my other same size but 21.5oz jeans weights 42oz.

I am glad you got around to Brave Star. They are a fantastic brand everyone should support them. Forget those large brands charging way too much for outsourced junk. Buy Brave Star!
I bought 21.5oz jeans in Nov 2016. Got really impressed with its quality construction so I ordered 18.5oz jeans in Jan 2017. Very disappointed with it because it’s relatively much thinner and lighter. I decided to do weight comparison between these two. My 21.5oz jeans weight 42oz (almost double. 21.5×2 = 43oz) so 18.5oz jeans must weigh close to 36oz. Guess what! It weighs only 31oz that is fucking 5oz short. Then I decided to weigh some of my other denims. All of them weighs almost twice as much as their denim type.
Brand Denim Type Total Weight
PRPS old 13.75oz 26.4oz
PRPS new 13.75oz 26.8oz
Cult of Individuality Old 14oz 28.4oz
Cult of Individuality New 15oz 30.3oz
Rag & Bone 13.75oz 27.4oz
Brave Star Slim Straight 21.5oz 41.8oz
Brave Star Slim Tapered 18.5oz 30.9oz (If it’s actually 18.5oz denim then jeans should weigh around 36oz. It’s short by 5oz)
Complained multiple times about it and asked for an explanation. They kept telling me that it’s 18.5oz and gave no explanation of why it weighs so less. It seems like they are selling 15-16 oz jeans for the higher price of 18.5oz jeans.
try brands like Iron Heart, and Indigofera Jeans. Those are supposed to be super high quality
Raleigh Denim is A1.
Can you review some Supima cotton T-shirts?
Hey, great video! Could you compare this to the DSTLD jeans?
I’ve got some 16.5oz Cone Mills Slim Taper in the mail now. I’m twice as excited as I was after this video.
Awesome Video!
can you please review MVMT watches
Is that the Skeleton Skinny or Slim Taper fit?
I love my Brave star 18.5 raw selvedge jeans, but they take a little longer to break in, still I believe that I will have them for a long time. Thanks for the video!
