Re/Done Jeans VS True Vintage Levi’s: Worth the price?? | A Review and Comparison

I hope this can help you figure out if ReDone jeans are for you and also help those of you on a budget figure out how to get ReDone for cheap and other true vintage alternatives!

Regarding sizing for Re/Done: If you have “average hips” (as defined by tailoring standards), that means that your hips are 10″ wider than your waist. For example, if your waist is 26″, an “average” hip width is 36″. If you have larger than “average” hips, then your hips are more than 10″ wider than your waist.

That being said, I believe that ReDone runs true to size in the waist measurement and a tad bit wide in the hips. So if you have average or smaller hips, get your regular size! If you have larger than average hips, I recommend you size up one to three sizes depending on how much larger your hips are compared to your waist. For very high rise styles, you can get away with not having to size up if you like a very tight hip fit like me. For mid rise styles, larger than average hips will have to size up accordingly. Feel free to comment or message me if you have any specific questions on your sizing.

Thank you for watching! I hope this was informative at the very least!

For that much money, even on sale, I couldn’t spend that much on such wonky butts! They had nice fits but when you can thrift them in a store or online for $25 or less…it’s better to just go vintage or find an indie designer who doesn’t mass produce their reworked jeans.

Those jeans (all) are perfect cut. What is the rise? I’m having trouble finding a vintage Levis w/waist as high as your jeans
